It didn’t take long for Jon Stewart to resume television hosting duties following his “Daily Show” exit.

The comedian, sporting a scruffy white beard, hosted WWE’s SummerSlam on Sunday at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

“You know, I’ve spent the past 16 years talking about politics,” he said in his opening remarks at the pay-per-view event in New York City. “It’s nice to be back in reality. Let me tell you the difference between politics and what you’re going to see tonight: The WWE performers you will see tonight, they respect their audience
